Here you can find what's going on in the Cornwell household! While Sarah and Caleb will give me much to talk about with regard to homeschooling and the challenges of the 'tween years, Samuel is my "character development" project. I never know what to expect from day to day with that child.
Enjoy!!

I know I've said it before, but it bears repeating...I love fall. Though the official start of autumn isn't until Friday, the shorter days, the cool, crisp evenings, and the already leaf-clad yard all bear witness to its arrival. Sort of like the bridesmaids signaling the arrival of the forthcoming bride. I'm afraid, however, that there isn't one bride on all the earth that would compare to the beauty and splendor of the changing seasons.
Living in Upstate NY is such a privilege at this tme of year. Unfortunately, we take it for granted sometimes...sort of like one who lives in a historical town who never goes to any of the history-making sites. I lived in Boston for over two years and never once visited the Constitution or walked the Freedom Trail. I guess you figure you'll get around to it one day. Well, this is one autumn season that I don't intend to miss! I want to keep track of the peak dates for foliage changes and place myself right smack in the middle of it all! Maybe rent a cabin for a few days, plan a hike or two through the surrounding nature trails, read my bible by a lonesome creek, take a boat-load of pictures...and just bask in Creation's miraculous grandeur!
I'd better get planning, too, because you can miss it in a blink!
