Caleb's Birthday... September 19.   sigh......  Twelve years old...that's, ya know, teen-dom!  Youth group, acne, girls, height!!

About two to three months ago I measured Sarah and Caleb back-to-back.  Sarah was a hair taller than Caleb at just under 5'.  Last week, Caleb measured an astounding 5'3"!!!  FOUR inches in less than two months???  Aye Carumba!!!  He's got an appetite to match!

So, I guess the traditional cake with candles doesn't fly anymore...it's all about the stomach these days!  Caleb wanted what my family traditionally calls "Love in Bloom"....

or no-bake cheesecake, but that's a lot less interesting.

Sheesh...been quite a day for journaling!
