Here you can find what's going on in the Cornwell household! While Sarah and Caleb will give me much to talk about with regard to homeschooling and the challenges of the 'tween years, Samuel is my "character development" project. I never know what to expect from day to day with that child.
Enjoy!!

Ok, maybe just a little crispy around the edges!
Current circumstances being what they are, I've been feeling a little overwhelmed (is that an oxymoron?) by ... how do I word this politely... the unceasing love and devotion bestowed upon me by my three, beautiful children. In other words, I need a break. And it would appear that I'm going to get one!!!
Brian is taking all three children camping this weekend! The original plan was to take only the boys, but I boldly stepped forth (read: practically sobbed) that I needed some time apart from Sarah, too. Not only will it be absolutely wonderful for them, but I am truly looking forward to some time to catch up on paperwork. I know, I know...sounds pretty dull, but a necessary evil I'm afraid. However, a task that would typically take me two days to complete with three children in the house should really only take me a few hours at most. The rest of my time will be spent in pajamas with a few great movies, and though I don't think it's going to be cool enough, I just might make myself a fire in the wood stove. All creature comforts. I'm also a little stuck in the house, though. Brian will most likely take the van, and I'm not driving the Jeep when it's due for inspection. So, gee...rough weekend. Sleep in, play with the remote, read, do a little work on the computer, not worry about what I'm wearing around the house, maybe order chinese AND....and this is big....HAVE IT DELIVERED!!! What luxury!! I can't wait!
So, I believe the plan is for Brian to actually take a vacation day Friday and return Sunday afternoon after church. Wow...that almost sounds like....like...an entire weekend!!!! Right now the only drawback I can think of is the dog...she stays. But that's ok, she'll be good company.
God is good. He knows how much I need this time. He's such a great giver of gifts, isn't He?
