Here you can find what's going on in the Cornwell household! While Sarah and Caleb will give me much to talk about with regard to homeschooling and the challenges of the 'tween years, Samuel is my "character development" project. I never know what to expect from day to day with that child.
Enjoy!!

I can honestly say....I LIKE MY HOUSE!!! Makes ya wonder why we ever bought it in the first place, huh? (If I ever say, "but there's so much potential..." just shoot me!)
With an all-out effort to whip it in to shape these past two months, but most especially these last two weeks, all that sweat has really paid off. I'm in the final stages of sorting and cleaning...and it's coming along beautifully. No more tripping over buckets of paint...no more clearing tools off the kitchen counters...no more excuses to company about the state of the house! It's simply.... wonderful.
That doesn't mean that the house is finished, however. There are still areas that need attention. Mostly trim work, paint touch-ups, changing out light fixtures, etc. I can live with all of that as long as I can walk across any given floor without losing a toe!
All this just in time for our housewarming party tomorrow! As much as I want people to see the house, they may be seeing more of it than I bargained for...it's suppose to rain! I was really hoping to have a roaring volleyball game going!! I was also hoping for one last shot at some color on my mighty-whitey legs while BBQ'ing. Guess we'll have to see! Either way, it'll be fun to get the family together one more time before summer is over.
Did I just say that? Summer....over???? Ugh!!
